Code of Conduct
This Code sets the standards for behavior and interactions within our student-led virtual community. It ensures a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all participants.
1Respect & Inclusivity
- Treat every member with dignity and kindness regardless of gender, grade, campus, tribe, sect, or background.
- Zero tolerance for bullying, harassment, sarcasm, mockery, body-shaming, or discriminatory remarks.
- No comments on appearance, family, wealth, or personal matters.
- Use inclusive language; avoid regional slang that might exclude others.
- Celebrate diversity; every campus, every voice matters.
2Privacy & Digital Safety
- Use only your official Collaber ID. Real names, photos, phone numbers, addresses, or social media handles are strictly forbidden publicly.
- No private messaging across genders without visible moderation.
- Never request or share personal information of any kind.
- No screenshots, screen recordings, or forwarding of chats/sessions without explicit consent from all participants and a Lead.
- Immediately report any privacy breach or suspicious behavior to a Director.
3Academic Integrity & Communication
- No sharing of live exam papers, official answers, or any form of cheating. Always credit the original creator when sharing notes or ideas.
- Submit original work in assessments and projects.
- Use only English in official spaces. No swearing, slang, inappropriate jokes, or offensive language.
- No spamming, religious/political debates, or promotion of external businesses.
4Platform Usage & Enforcement
- Join classes and meetings on time; mute your microphone when not speaking.
- Keep cameras on only when required and appropriate.
- Leaders must maintain neutrality, professionalism, and fairness at all times, and respond within 24 hours.
- Violations are classified as Minor (warning), Moderate (7-day restriction), or Severe (permanent removal). Appeals can be made in writing to the Director within 48 hours.
