Brand & Media Usage Guidelines
These guidelines ensure consistent, ethical, and professional use of the Collabs brand, logo, name, and media to protect our identity as a premier student-led organization.
1Logo & Name Usage
- Official Name: Always capitalize as "Collabs". No abbreviations without approval.
- Official Logo: The laptop and book icon, composed strictly of Navy Blue and White colors.
- No modifications to color, shape, stretching, or overlaying text on the logo.
- Logo must have padding (clear space) equal to its height on all sides. Approved backgrounds are white, light blue, or navy blue reversed.
- No use of the logo in personal endorsements or commercial ads. Any use implying official endorsement requires explicit permission.
2Media Usage (Photos, Videos, Films)
- All media produced by the organization (e.g., short films, digital projects) is owned entirely by Collabs.
- External use must include the credit: "Courtesy of Collabs". No editing or altering without Director approval.
- Written consent must be obtained before publishing any student photos.
- Media is strictly for educational or promotional purposes. No commercial sharing or selling is allowed.
3Social Media & Promotion
- Brand Kit: Use Navy Blue, White, Blue accents, and modern sans-serif fonts (e.g., Montserrat, Arial, Inter).
- Posts on official channels must align with our values. Zero tolerance for negativity, off-topic content, or political/religious endorsements.
- Do not use the brand for personal posts without approval.
- The Collaboration Ambassador conducts an annual content audit to ensure brand consistency.
4Enforcement
- Violations of brand usage are reviewed by the Director.
- Actions range from a minor warning to immediate content removal or partnership termination for severe infractions.
- Appeals can be made within 7 days to the Executive Team.
